Hurricane Season is officially here and now is the time to make your plans.

ALERTFlagler is a no-cost countywide service that allows subscribers to sign up for a variety of emergency notifications based on their enrolled addresses.
This system allows you to customize:
- Which devices and formats you want to receive alerts (Email, SMS/Text, Home Phone, Mobile Phone (voice), Work Phone)
- Which specific weather alerts you want to receive,
- Under My Subscriptions (Edit), click the triangle next to Weather Alerts and all of the triangles underneath to see all options, and then check off the alerts you want to receive; and
- A Quiet Time during which alerts will not be received, such as overnight,
- The system will override the Quite Time for certain alerts like tornadoes and evacuations,
- This option can also be found under Weather Alerts.
