New Stores and Businesses Coming to State Road 100

State Road 100 continues to attract commercial investment, with several new retail and service businesses planned for Palm Coast. While some developments have advanced through the approval process and others are under construction, individual store opening dates have not been confirmed across the board.

Walmart Supercenter at Flagler Landings

Status: Site plan approved; opening date not confirmed

A new Walmart Supercenter is planned for Flagler Landings, west of Seminole Woods Boulevard and near BJ's Wholesale Club. The project includes a proposed 185,492-square-foot Walmart, a fueling station, and additional retail space.

The larger development may eventually include restaurants, a bank, a car wash, and other businesses on separate outparcels. Those additional tenants have not all been identified, so they should be considered future possibilities rather than confirmed stores.

HomeGoods, Barnes & Noble and Five Below

Status: Planning-board approval; construction and opening dates to be confirmed

An approximately 48,600-square-foot retail expansion is planned for Palm Coast Landing near State Road 100 and Belle Terre Parkway.

The named tenants are:

  • HomeGoods: Home furnishings, décor, kitchen accessories, and seasonal merchandise.

  • Barnes & Noble: Books, gifts, and reading-related merchandise.

  • Five Below: Toys, games, accessories, gifts, and affordable specialty products.

The planning board approved the technical site plan in March 2026. However, planning approval alone does not establish that the stores are open or have announced a firm opening date.

7 Brew Coffee, Stanton Optical and Avecina Urgent Care

Status: Identified tenants in a commercial plaza with construction underway

A separate commercial development on the southwest corner of State Road 100 and Belle Terre Parkway is bringing additional retail and service opportunities to the area.

The businesses identified in the development plans include:

  • 7 Brew Coffee: A drive-thru coffee shop.

  • Stanton Optical: Eyewear and vision-related services.

  • Avecina Urgent Care: Convenient healthcare services.

Medical offices and other commercial spaces are also included in the development. The first phase of the plaza was reported to be under construction in March 2026, although individual tenant opening dates have not been confirmed.

Firestone and Take 5 Car Wash

Status: Additional automotive-service development planned

Automotive services are another part of the area's commercial growth.

A Firestone vehicle repair shop was proposed for a parcel behind Tractor Supply near the southeast corner of State Road 100 and Belle Terre Parkway. Its special-exception request received planning-board approval in March 2026, but a separate technical site plan was still required.

A Take 5 Car Wash has also been identified as a future business in the Shoppes at Palm Coast area. Its current construction and opening status should be verified before announcing a specific opening date.

What About Other Future Retailers?

The Walmart development and nearby shopping centers provide opportunities for additional restaurants, stores, and services. However, until individual tenants are officially identified, these should be described as potential future businesses rather than confirmed additions.

As these projects progress, new announcements may bring even more shopping and service options to Palm Coast.

Development plans and tenant arrangements can change. Approval of a project does not necessarily mean every proposed business has finalized its lease, begun construction, or confirmed an opening date.
